Wale Wears Crimson Foamposites

(via Sole Collector) – The term “influencer” is a little overused in today’s sneaker culture, but whether you like it or not, rapper Wale has definitely had some kind of impact on the rising popularity of Nike Foamposites in mainstream circles. That’s not to say that Foams needed much of a push to begin with, but there’s no doubting that the Folarin co-sign over the years has exposed the once-dubbed “Moon Boots” to an all-new audience. If you’re not locked into the game and still find yourself curious about what new Foam colorways are on the horizon, you can usually turn to Wale, who is known for being amongst the first to lace up fresh styles before they hit retail.

With that said, Wale made an appearance in Las Vegas earlier today to perform at The Palms’ Ditch Fridays event, essentially an unnecessary excuse to party in Sin City. For the show, Wale broke out the upcoming “Crimson” Air Foamposite Pro, which is due out in September. The cap is by Chicago-based retail spot Leaders.
