Redskins Safety Brandon Meriweather Gets Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

Redskins Safety Brandon Meriweather was arrested by Arlington Police on suspicion of DUI and refusal to take a breathalyzer test.

It happened Thursday around 3 a.m. Meriweather was driving westbound on I-66 near N. Ohio Street when he was pulled over.

Officers say they smelled a strong odor of alcohol and asked Meriweather to take a breathalyzer test, but he refused. He was taken to Arlington County Detention Center and booked.
