Pusha T Ft. The-Dream – “Exodus 23:1″ (Lil Wayne Diss)
By DMVFollowers on May 24, 2012
(via TheFader) On “Exodus,” a G.O.O.D. Music single featuring The-Dream released last night, Pusha T fires subliminal shots at an unnamed foe. The track’s target is presumably Drake, who Pusha previously took to task in an unfriendly remix of Drake’s “Don’t Fuck With Me,” where Pusha rapped lines like The swag don’t match the sweaters. On “Exodus” Pusha mocks YMCMB’s structure, saying, Contract all fucked up, I guess that means you’re all fucked up/ You signed to one nigga, that signed to another niggaa, that signed to three niggas/ Now that’s bad luck. Early this morning, Lil Wayne responded to the track bluntly:
Pusha and Wayne have sparred in the past, taking jabs at each other in interviews. Following Wayne’s 2010 release from prison, Pusha told Complex that they’d set their beef aside. “There was definitely a time period when I felt a certain way [about him] but as of right now I don’t,” Pusha said. “That’s just where I once was.” It seems he might be back there again.
