A Silver Spring, Maryland home has been condemned after a bus crashed into it. The accident happened Monday morning as the driver was attempting to make a right turn. Security cameras on board the bus captured the crash from several angles. Femi Olamide was sitting in a Toyota on the street when he saw the bus crash into his taxi in the driveway of his home.

The bus pushed the taxi onto the lawn and continued into the front of the house.

Two of his sons were inside, but were not injured. “I thought it was an earthquake at first, so when I saw the bus I was completely astounded,” Toye Olamide said. “I didn’t think something like this could happen.”

“I just thought, How in the world could this have happened?” Kofo Olamide said. “Why is there a bus in my living room?”

Nine passengers were on board. Five were transported to local hospitals. None of their injuries were life-threatening. EMS workers also evaluated another four riders at the scene. A structural inspector condemned the home after an evaluation.

That’s not cool at all but here’s a cool picture of a Metro bus in the 1970′s!
