Arlington Kid William Polly Wins World Cup Stacking Championship
By DMVFollowers on May 5, 2012
A local boy has become the world champion in competitive cup stacking.
It’s the first time the competition has been held outside of the U.S.
Polly won the Individual All-Around award, according to waunetanebraska.com, with the fastest combined time of 9.34 seconds for three events: the 3-3-3 and 3-6-3, which relate to the number of cups competitors must stack, as well as the cycle, where a competitor must create a series of stacks.
He appeared on “LIVE! with Kelly” on Friday, May 4.
Polly will compete in the AAU Junior Olympics in Houston, Texas this July.
