3 Men Dead In Howard County Crash

ELKRIDGE, Md. (WUSA) — Howard County Police say three men are dead after a crash in Elkridge on Thursday morning.

According to police, a Chevrolet Impala was speeding northbound on Route 1 when a tractor trailer traveling southbound tried to make a left turn across the northbound lanes. Police say that it appears that the Impala hit the side of the tractor trailer in the 7500 block of Route 1 near Meadowridge Road at approximately 6 a.m.

Police say three men in the Impala were killed, but the 58-year-old tractor trailer driver was not injured.

Route 1 is closed in both directions.
