GoldLink Releases Visuals for “Spectrum”

88 Rising, Adrian Pereyra, and DMV Artist GoldLink Collaborate to Release Classic, Creative Visuals for “Spectrum”

Fresh off inking a deal with RCA Records, GoldLink, the 23 year old DMV rapper, recently released a video for “Spectrum”, one of our personal favorites from his 2015 hit Project entitled “And After That, We Didn’t Talk”.

Spectrum was the first single from “And After That, We Didn’t Talk”., describes Spectrum as:

“Spectrum”, the first single, is most evocative of GoldLink’s self-described “future bounce” sound: A Missy Elliot sample floats over spacey beats as the rapper’s lightspeed rhymes weave through recordings of his ex-girlfriend speaking in Tagalog. It’s a disorienting mix but also energizing and enticing—like you’re embarking on a Virgin Galactic trip to an interstellar club.

After dropping the visuals for “Palm Trees/Late Night ft Masego” (see below), GoldLink followed up with a timeless Adrian Pereyra masterpiece.  The video is a classic collection of visuals paired with a classic track; both confirming the fact that this DMV rapper is a true Hip Hop Artist.

The video was produced by creative collective, 88 Rising.
