20 Mixtapes/Projects That We Need on Vinyl

2015 marked the 10th straight year vinyl sales have grown. In the U.S. alone vinyl sales increased 30% last year. The popular hobby of collecting music has created a cult-following culture and appreciation for the millennials of today.

Particularly in hip hop, a previous article comparing the revenue of vinyl sales and streaming services sales, I raise the question: Should Artists consider having their mixtapes on wax? According to Forbes, the highest selling vinyl of 2015 was Adele’s 25, raking in 116,000 records sold. Don’t you think a Drake or Kanye West mixtape would sell more if not on streaming sites or places like DatPiff? While that’s up for you to decide, I give you 20 mixtapes/projects (The Life of Pablo in particular) that should be on wax.
